COVID-19 has been tough for everyone, and there are times when you come across a good course online that you’d like to share with your friends.

Don’t.

Most good trainers have equally good hearts. If you believe you got good value from a course, share the links to the course with your friends (not the course).

Then ask your friend to write to the trainer, to ask for access to the course for free or at a steep discount.

This helps everyone in a few ways:

  1. Course Creator — He knows that there are people out there who are really interested in hearing what he has to say. This encourages him to improve his existing content or create more.
  2. Your Friend — If your friend puts in no effort to access the training content, I guarantee you he will not take any action after getting his hands on it. If you really want to help him, show him what to do.
  3. You — If this course helped you enough, the last thing you should do is to repay the benefits by taking away another opportunity from the Course Creator. Do the right thing.

There are ways to prevent simultaneous logins, sharing of workshop files with non-registered students. But there are equally as many ways to circumvent them.

The world will be a better place for everyone if we all just strive to do the right thing, for once.
